Not sure if you are aware but you can buy the exact same cat back on eBay for $180 shipped brand new shipped to your door. Just picked one up a few weeks ago. Good cat back setup for the money.

Yeah i've seen the knock offs they are made in Japan and they don't even say a name in the ad. Me personally I would rather know I was getting a quality product. To me it is the same as `Buying a shit ebay chip when you can buy a mark d chip. I mean seriously... Call ebay up and tell them your problems with a chip exhaust or anything knock off. But if you actually have the original good quality then call support will be different

Its not a matter of knock off vs. the real thing. I understand that its been confirmed that the IE catback stainless exhaust systems are from the same Taiwan manufacturer as the ones sold on eBay... Side by side they are the same product made by the same overseas manufacturer.

Would you pay more to own a Rolex just because it said Rolex even though you knew it came from the same manufacturer with a different name stamped on it?

Don't get me wrong.. its a great exhaust setup for what you pay for it but if your paying more for the IE stamp you're only buying branding and nothing more.

Not trying to thread crap.. just trying to point out that if you buy from IE thinking that your getting a better product than the one on eBay you're only fooling yourself. This exhaust is reproduced by the same company in china/Taiwan and IE is no different than the eBay merchant. They all import from the same overseas manufacturer and re-market them under different business names. Side by side they are the exact same exhaust quality and all.
