Are the high beams specific to e30's? So they would have the studs on the back of the lenses?

Im not 100% sure, for some reason I want to say they would also fit on the euro e28s.

What are you trying to figure out?

just curious if they had studs on the back of the lense's. i ran into this problem with my buddy at the dealership when i was trying to get a set of these to fit in my e30. the french high beams i got that were e30 specific had studs that came in contact with the US housings.

any pix of the back of them?

Almost a year later I ask ... would you part with the frenchies ?
my low's are sort of faded.
