This wouldnt happen to be compatible with E36, would it? Just a curious question.

They re-designed the shape of the buttons on e36's. They are wider and not as tall - so no - they don't fit.

Well, I was thinking of cutting a space for one on the upper part of the shift console, next to the ASC & seat heater switches. My main concern is with the software compatibility in the event of a possible stroke adjustment/DME swap. If so, I might be interested, they seem fantastic, and as far as I know, gauges is the only option available for the E36.

^PM me for a detailed answer, but gauges like this, measure what they are designed to measure, and the type of motor they are mounted on doesn't effect that.
