Ok i have choose to go with whats in my car now so im selling my 6 puck spec one clutch. Has about 90 to 95% life left in it. it has no cracks what so ever. its in amazing shape.
no clutch can hold 550hp without an upgraded pressure plate to match. I'd venture a guess that disks alone would offer somewhere between 10-40% more grab depending on the material, but that's just a guess. I'm not familiar with this particular clutch and don't mean this as a thread crap, but 550hp is not accurate.
yes you need to upgrade the pressure plate. when ever you upgrade your clutch you need to upgrade you pressure plate to match or exceed the clutch. this is all i got from there site i will keep looking.
Stage 4
This unit is a solid hub version of the stage 3. The hub is solid 8-rivet and the assembly is heat treated for strength and durability. It is available in a 3, 4 or 6 puck configuration. Use the 3 puck for the lightest option or the 6 puck for the smoothest engagement. The 4 puck is a good compromise for both. Street drivable in 6 puck configuration, but not street friendly due to the rigid hub. Best for drag racing, road racing, pulling, rallye and drift.
Just incase any one was wandering you can use a e30 clutch with a zf as long as you use your lightweight/shaved e30 flywheel and clutch basket and pressure plate, currently what i am running

You'll also need the m20 starter. Also, it's recomended you use a sprung clutch disc with a single mass flywheel and vice versa. Although I'm running a single mass flywheel and an unsprung disc on my m20/getrag and it isn't all that bad. Just takes a little more effort to engage smoothly.
Did some research, the stage 4 has a torque tolerance of 340 when partnered with said plate..
You can purchase this kit for $399 brand new from Spec! If you say you can get the pressure plate for $260, and your selling for $150 then that makes $410? maybe $100 shipped for clutch?
Not trying to thread crap just about to upgrade clutch for turbo..
