FS: (OEM New) Small Case LSD 3.45 (S345 030)

Sold to the man with 1 post.

This came as part of an unused reserve I4-Z3 rear assembly for an endurance race. Basically, an entire subframe assembly which could be swapped at the track. The assembly sat in a shop for ten or so years. I apologize there are no ten year old receipts. I am taking the owners word and the fact that there are no marks of wear on the flanges, input, etc.

I do not need another diff at the moment. Especially a zero mile diff.

    Part# 33101214933
    Ring and Pinion:38:11
    Velocity Ratio: 3.45
RealOEM MSRP: $2,383.08 (Yes, this is way high)

    Feeler: $550 obo :D

Easiest way to check the oil. Unused and golden. But I would recommend changing it as gear oil does have a shelf life.

Forgive the stupid question, but if it works out I am interested.

Question- If I currently have a medium case, will this work?
(I currently have a dysfuntional 3.25 LSD, inside cover from 325is (318i chassis had small case diffs)).

    Thanks in advance.

EDIT- disregard. From what I am reading, it seems that I'd be better off being patient for a medium case. Anywho, very cool to have a zero mile diff laying around, sure someone will snatch it up.

      Thanks for the interest.

Yes, Small case will bolt onto medium case shafts. Although beefier, the medium case has shorter flanges and shares a overall width with the small case.

Sweet diff for a basically stock or stroker M20.
