FS in RI: Parting out 1989 BMW 325i, sedan, 5 sp., zinnoberot/red

Got a few parts for sale, proceeds going to my rally project.

Check out the pics, PM/post with any questions. Car has about 190K.

    Parts for sale:

Doors x4: $125. This includes all four doors. All four glasses. All four motors, regulators, door cards, pulls, map pockets, etc. Does not include interior door handles. Doors are in generally good shape. Rear pass side has rot through the bottom (not visible from the outside). Driver’s rear has some dents/dings. Not perfect condition, but good, solid, Bondo-able doors. All windows/motors confirmed working. No shipping. SOLD! Driver's door, rest still available... Outside, mid-door trim SOLD!

Hood: $50. Generally good shape, some clear coat bubbling, some rust on underside where it mounts to the car. Does not include roundel. No shipping.

Rear plastic bumper: $50. In solid shape, needs cleaning, nothing broken. No shipping. SOLD!

Deck lid: $30. Some underside rust, but looks good on the outside. No shipping.

Sunroof wind deflector: $30. Excellent shape, includes hardware. PENDING...

Sunroof panel/cassette: $35. Manual. Known working condition, panel in great shape, no handle.

Battery covers: $10 each. Good shape.

Four-spoke steering wheel: $25. Great condition, no airbag. (Also have a four-spoke from a ’91 with airbag, $30).

Window switches: $5 each. All known illuminated and working. SOLD!

Tan vinyl seats: $50. Driver’s side torn, pass side and rear in good shape.

Visors: $10. Great shape (have multiple sets).

    Check panel: $10. Known working.

    HVAC panel: $20. Good shape.

Headlight/foglight switch cluster: $20. Good shape, working, some fade on icon.

    Parcel shelf: $10. SOLD!

Third brake light: $10, ‘new’ style.

Body shell/chassis: $100. This will be virtually empty, chassis only, possibly random bits left on, NON-roller. Battery box rotted out, some badly PO Bondo-ed action on the pass side. Would make a great LeMons platform.

    Parts not for sale:

I’m keeping the fenders, most engine bits (except AC, ABS pump, etc.), the taillight, the wheels, the dash, cluster, front and rear glass, fuel pump/sender, trans, short-shifter, etc.

PM/post with questions. If you need something not listed, please ask, I may have it.

    Thanks for looking!

              A few answers...

              I am in Rhode Island.

Front bumper is smashed in and broken (see pic below, hopefully I did it right). Rear bumper is in good shape, just needs a buff or refreshed paint.

I'll double check the license plate thingy. OBC is toast, but I do have a 13-button with stalk available from an '88 325is. It is a roller. For now...

The front bumper is definitely ill and the valance is somewhat wrinkly. I have had an offer of $60 so far on the valance.

So front valance weighs about 16 pounds, but after the box, shipping materials, etc., it'll be about 20 pounds. It would require a box that is 68 x 18 x 23ish (I don't have one, so it would have to be built or crated) and would be coming from 02903 (and that's just the front valance).

USPS says it is too big to ship. If you have another option that you use frequently, let me know. I am in throwing distance of USPS, UPS and FedEx. So if you want to figure it out and see if it's worth it and get back to me, that's cool.

I personally don't charge any extra for shipping boxes and bubble wrap, etc., unless I have to have it built by UPS, or I have to build a crate.

                Cheers

Per request, here are a few pics of the parcel shelves. Pics are from the '89, which is in solid condition, with cutouts for standard speakers.

The last is from a '91. Has cutouts for premium, but is a little rougher than the 1989. It needs a cleaning and some of the carpet is coming up near the right side speaker hole.

Would this car happen to have a 173 ECU? Willing to sell? And if so, does it function properly?
