S52 complete motor, from automatic, Runs perfectly!

    Sold....

This motor is from a '98 automatic, 4-door which means it has not been abused. It has 90k on it. I heard it run before it came out of the car and its super tight. I had it reserved for me, but financial troubles have postponed this project for me.
So I am helping the guys selling it find a new buyer.
The price is firm at $2,500, so please, no low-ballers.

These guys also have all the parts that you need for the e30 swap as well, so it will be 1-stop shopping including new stuff like spark plugs, seals, etc. and they ship. So hit me up and I will put you in direct contact with them!

      It means plenty.
      1. Anyone who buys an Auto m3 is far less likely to track the car, mod the car, autocross, etc. etc.
      2. Over revs are nearly impossible.
      3. Unless the tranny was chipped, normal driving means they shift under 6,000 rpms.
      4. Auto's prevent engine breaking by up-shifting during off-throttle cruise conditions.
      5. Spinning a torque converter is not as hard on an engine as spinning a flywheel and clutch.

Say what you will, I'll take the motor out of an auto any day of the week over a 5-speed.

True and who ever would own and auto e36 m3 has got to be a pretty big poser wimp who is afraid of taking risks in the first place. Carry on.

            1. Anyone who buys an Auto m3 is far less likely to track the car, mod the car, autocross, etc. etc. ----- Apparently this only applies to auto M3's..my F150 is tuned to an extra 500 rpm over stock redline, the Cayman S has been to VIR a handful of times..and is also chipped
            2. Over revs are nearly impossible. ----- Nearly..yes but still possible
            3. Unless the tranny was chipped, normal driving means they shift under 6,000 rpms. ----- Unless neutral drops are in order..we all love those!
            4. Auto's prevent engine breaking by up-shifting during off-throttle cruise conditions. ----- You mean engine braking?? I've never had an engine break under deceleration
            5. Spinning a torque converter is not as hard on an engine as spinning a flywheel and clutch. ----- Dude have you picked up a torque converter full of fluid lately???

            anyway, untwist your panties!!

Soooo... in stating my point of view, my panties somehow got twisted?
I have no problem with people disagreeing with me. Its how we all learn things from each other.

just busting your chops. My S50 came out of an auto too...haha. I totally rebuilt it so it doesn't really matter.

Carry on. Low mileage engines are getting harder and harder to find, so somebody scoop this up!

sorry, but if you redline your F-150 than you got problems. good job bragging about beating on your vehicles though, I'll be sure to never buy anything from you
