Ok since all the pms want this ship. I want $70 if I am going to ship this. The hassle to box it up and etc. Local $60, shipping $70+ shipping. You have to find your own shipping. Every place I go to wants $200+. Book your shipping I will box it up and take it to the station.

Shipping should not be that hard or expensive. Either double box it or spend $6 and buy a rubbermaid tote container to ship it in. Make sure you pad the hell out of the box, and use a ton of good packing tape on it, or it WILL break open. Also a good idea to wrap the tranny in an plastic trash bag before you start packing it- just to keep any possible seepage under control.
That transmission should be maybe 75-80 lbs including a ton of packing materials, ship it Fedex Ground and it'll go coast to coast for less than $100.
If you take it someplace and just drop it off, expecting them to pack + ship, then yeah- they'll bend you over for sure.
The last time I shipped a transmission it was a 265 dogleg (heavier than the 260) and it cost $120 via Fed-Ex with $2k insurance. It was way over-packed too. Just letting you know a real-world example relative to what you've got.
