Speeds are controlled through a potentiometer, It sends different voltages to a DC Motor. GL dj

^no. It's a selectors switch, and the speeds are controlled through a resistor pack.

Not worth $50. You can pull these out of parts cars for $10 at the jy.

if you live in texas like i do its worth 50 bucks. new they are almost 200 glws

They cost $292 new from pelican, $50 is a good price if its in good condition. :)
