FS: S50 motor / trans $1000

S50 Motor & ZF 5 speed trans located in Coatesville, PA 19320



The motor has ~140k and I am not sure about the transmission.

The motor has a blown head gasket



The car ran and I bought it like this. I drove it home with the blown head gasket no problem. The needle never went past halfway and the car still had some power. I am assuming the gasket went near the rear cylinder because I pulled the plugs and saw coolant on the last one.

The transmission ran fine and shifted smooth. The clutch felt strong and made no crazy sounds.


This could be a great project to throw a new gasket in or build it up for F/I. :buttrock

the motor will come with everything in the picture sans shift linkage / shifter.

I may also throw in the s50 intake manifold, AFE intake, k&n filter, HFM but I need to make sure I dont need them.
