If by slipring you mean spacer, I'm 95% sure the answer is no. I had a non-airbag car and had to use a spacer - pretty sure you will not need one on an airbag car. Should be direct fit.

Super easy 5 min install. Thin-wall'd 22mm socket, tiny extention and a rachet socket driver. 1 nut, remove wheel, put gorgeous new mtech2 wheel on in same orientation, replace washer/nut, pop on horn pad, done. ;)
