                It makes room for bigger motors. I.E. s54 or s50b32. Also converts the car to fully manual brakes eliminating the need for a booster by using a different master cylinder and changing the pedal ratio of the brake pedal.

                  Looks cool, but wouldn't it be a really hard pedal considering that theres no vaccum assist?...

                    The s50b32 swap shown doesn't really have many options it's either a manual brakes or an really weak booster b/c there just isn't any room for a booster large enough to be of any real use, short of going to an alpha-N/velocity stack setup. Lee's kit modifies the stock pedal assembly and can also be setup with a smaller diameter master cylinder to help make up for the lack of vacuum assist.

                      I've got this kit, it's a great setup if you need the space and/or want manual brakes. With the right size MC and proper leverage ratio at the pedal the brakes will feel just fine.

                      I spent just north of $200 on mine, this is a good deal..

                            OR you can go to a hydraulic booster that is no bigger around than a master cyl.
