What's your plan Brew?

I just pulled the 285k M50 out of my parts car, and am staring at it trying to decide wtf to do.

With summer almost over, a swap now would be pointless. I won't even be finished and driving it until mid august, between time available and other things the car needs, and it comes back off in early october.

So a rebuild is definitely happening. Just trying to come up with what I want to do.

Did you mention how many miles were on this motor?

I'm building a 2.9 stroker. Non vanos block and head, s50 crank and rods, and most likely some shrick cams. Should be good for at least 210whp. It will probably not be going into my current e30 though.

Sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. I'll have to look into that - basically all I'd need is a rebuilt head, s50 crank and rods, cams, and machine work for the bottom end, right? Obviously the other parts like water pump etc, but just the engine itself.

i still have the crank pistons and rods. i can also have any machining u guys need done as well. cranks balanced, bore the block, port and polish, all that shit.

how much for the crank shipped to phx, az 85018?
i want to build a stroker m-20 for my 91 325i, just picked up a complete 90 325i motor to build on. what is the difference between the two rods since they are the same legnth? is one a stronger forging?
btw i am not a daydreamer i won't waste your time am vety interested in the crank and poss. the rods if neccessary.
