I have a 5 speed swap which came out of an 84 eta. The drive shaft uses a small style guibo and there are holes in the bell housing for reference sensors, but you can plug those up and use this setup just the same in any e30 84-91. The tranny has about 200k-220k miles on it. No grinds, no popping out of gear. Worked well when pulled.
The driveshaft measures 78mm from bolt center to bolt center on the guibo measured crossing the center of the drive shaft. U-joints are good, guibo looks good, CSB needs to be replaced. If you want to use this on a large style guibo tranny you need to switch to the smaller output flange with the vibration drum around it.
