They have no lines or dimples! Where did you find them? Glass?
I know, they're sickk. I just decided to go a different route headlight wise. One of my buddys works out at sears point raceway, he sold his e30 a while ago but had these laying around. One of my lenses cracked due to a recent r3v, but after investigation, it broke my headlight bucket too, so instead of trying to patch them up, I'm just gunna buy a new set...and yes they are glass.

I think they came from a "deep" like brand of ellipsoids... Ive seen a couple before at the junk yard, but I've seen pics of they on the e30 and the all clear lens looks odd...
Ha, i looked at the photo the OP posted and now Im wondering the same thing.. it looks like an actual ellipsoid/projector (fisheye) glass, but then again looks like a ellipsoid headlight cover.
