    Ellipsoid Clear Lenses - $30

Brand new clear ellipsoid lens replacements. I bought these, then decided to just go with a set of smileys. Asking $30 shipped.

They have no lines or dimples! Where did you find them? Glass?

I know, they're sickk. I just decided to go a different route headlight wise. One of my buddys works out at sears point raceway, he sold his e30 a while ago but had these laying around. One of my lenses cracked due to a recent r3v, but after investigation, it broke my headlight bucket too, so instead of trying to patch them up, I'm just gunna buy a new set...and yes they are glass.

I think they came from a "deep" like brand of ellipsoids... Ive seen a couple before at the junk yard, but I've seen pics of they on the e30 and the all clear lens looks odd...

Ha, i looked at the photo the OP posted and now Im wondering the same thing.. it looks like an actual ellipsoid/projector (fisheye) glass, but then again looks like a ellipsoid headlight cover.

            ANyways... check this link.

Photos from the link if you don't want to read.

            What it might look like.

Another type of non ellipsoid light.

            Clear lens ellipsoid on car1.

            Clear lens ellipsoid on car2.

Photoshop of what said lens would look if the outer reflector was tinted.
