    Metric Mechanic M20

I no longer have a use for my M20. This engine has approximately 45k on it. It was built by Metric Mechanic as a one off engine. Specs are as follows.

    -E block: Bore 84, Stroke 81
    -I head (885)
    -I intake
-MM Camshaft: 286/274 duration, with a 11.7 Lift.
-25/23 Valve overlap. Total 48 overlap.
-MM Single 'beehive" spring valve springs (S14/S38 7mm stems used)
-MM Rally Forged Alusil Vented Pistons: 10.8:1 Compression. 330 Pistons 80-90 shaved
    -Chromoly piston rings
    -MM tuned MarkD' chip
-Ported head, intake, and oil pump.
    -140mm Rods (early M50)
    -8mm allen Head bolts
    -Timing advanced 8 degrees.

    Replaced when built:

    Rocker arms
    Valve guides
    Rod Bolts
    Rod bearings
    Main bearings
    Exhaust shields
    All gaskets
    All hoses

    Replaced 20K ago:

    Timing Belt
    Timing belt tensioner
    Water Pump
    Fan clutch
    Spark plugs

    Recently replaced with no miles:

    Valve cover gasket
    Oil Pan Gasket
    Intake manifold Gasket
    Front and rear main seals
    Rocker shaft plugs

Engine will come with all hoses, complete wiring harness, chipped ECU, A fresh valve adjustment, and fresh paint on the intake and valve cover. A/C, PS, and Alt are not included. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. This engine would make great for track use, as it is currently set up for top end performance. The engine has never been tracked, only daily driven.

Price is $2200 for the complete engine. $2600 shipped. I feel it is fair considering everything included. The MM pistons, which make this engine a non-interference engine, cost $1170 alone. I am willing to ship. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Never Dyno'd. According to MM it should be good for 195hp. Only picture I have. I will post more by monday. I'm going to glass bead blast and paint everything I can while I am putting new gaskets on this weekend. I'll be sure to take photos while i'm going through.

It was removed two months ago for my 24v swap. I do not currently have compression numbers, but I will have them by mid next week (or sooner if there is a serious buyer.) I see no reason why it would be down on compression.

Explain the one-off build! Was this one of their kits? Will the MAS come with the motor? Any chance you might let the tranny go with the motor? I am close enough I would be picking up. Do you have the qriginal build sheet and paperwork? Please pm your response, thanks
