FS: Set of MKII Recaro's willing to Ship

Time to free up space in my garage.

This set is does have some wear on the upper bolster cover as can be seen in the picture

I'm currently repairing the lower bolsters like I did with the last set I sold so they will be nice and firm once I've repaired them.

Willing to ship asking $450 pickup or $525 shipped to Mainland through UPS or Fedex which ever is cheaper. Seats will be shipped in 2 boxes and backs will be separated from the bottoms to make it more compact but very easy to put back together.

for shipping, i suggest going to uhaul and picking up two moving boxes. don't quote me, but i believe the size is 20x24x36? they cost 8 bucks each. you don't have to take apart the seats. just pull the head rest and set it on the seat for shipping. also, i usually cut a piece of 1/2" plywood and set that in the bottom of the box before i send it out. fed ex is cheaper than ups for shipping large items. greyhound is cheaper yet.

It's only to clips to separate so not a big deal. Just like to get the packages to be as small as possible to keep the cost down. I believe it's the closet boxes from uhaul that fit the seats probably the ones you mentioned.

I got both seats into 1 box from U-Haul, in the 20x24x36 box, just took them apart at the hinges and laid the backs and the bases on top of each other 69-style, shipped the whole box for like $83 FedEx Ground.

Where are you located, Sacramento? What else would be needed to fit these in an E30?

                    I'm in Elk Grove, Sac

You would need to either buy the brackets janderson sells that allow you to use the stock sport seat sliders, fabricate your own mounts or buy Recaro bottom mount adaptors.

Good to know that's what I was going to do but UPS I guess cost more so I'd probably go with fedex.
