    Springs and Sways for sale

Finally sorted out my suspension on the e30 (1990 325i) and am getting rid of what I no longer need.

SOLD Full set of H&R sport springs (50406R, 50406F) for 325i/is: never seen a winter, about 10k miles on the springs: $150 shipped.

SOLD Suspension Techniques 19mm rear sway bar, adjustable, green bar. I picked this up used as part of a full set but am only using the front bar. The bar comes with some of the mounting hardware (adjustable links etc, but missing the rear sub-frame re-enforcements, at least one end link spacer, and one of the poly bushings looks shot). $80 shipped

Stock e30 325i front sway bar (20mm), newer OEM bushings and brackets (3,000 miles on these). $80 shipped for bar, bushings and brackets.

sway bars act like springs but only when the two linked struts are at different points in their compression range.

IE: when you turn hard, one is compressed more than the other, this difference attempts to 'bend' the sway bar, which resists it and acts like a spring.

When driving straight down the road, there is no different in strut position between both linked corners, and the sway bar is virtually invisible to the occupants of the car.

On my street cars I tend to run stock springs with fresh struts and large sway bars.. but with a much more significant increase in size in the rear.
