FS: Recaro lower bolster foam $40 (pre order)

Just placed a huge order for foam and figured i would pass the savings onto a few of you guys. They should be in towards the mid/end of july. The bolsters are slightly different from the originals but not enough that you can really tell when they are mounted. OEM foam is nla so this is the best you are going to get - $40 shipped per bolster if you pre order them.

These will fit various models. If you are not sure if they will fit yours just ask and i will let you know.

    (new left / original right)

Unsure whether I have the LX-F or the Specialist S, but I'd be interested in these if they work for either model.

When you say "some manual model c's" which ones exactly are you talking about...
Also on that note, do you have and knobs and plastic covers for the recliner mechanism for the same seat as well...

              Thanks

Is there a way to distinguish the two (e.g. build date, features, etc.)? I still have the invoice from when the P.O. bought them some 15+ years ago and I seem to recall them saying LX-F. Let me know, muh side bolsters are mushy.

If they have the smaller lower bolsters these are a direct replacement. Pretty much if the lower bolsters have this same shape then they are interchangeable. So if they look like this they will work.

The early seats had ginormous lower bolsters and these wont work on those as seen here.

Here you go, a2coupe2a, thanks a bunch for the info/help.

Forgive the shit garage lighting and the hideous old door panels, they have since been replaced.

Thanks for the pics - def. lx-f's. Im fairly certain that they actually use a 1pc foam base. That being said we have never actually broke one of those down so its hard to say without seeing a base with the cover off.

I can tell you that if these do not work we could prob fix your current foam since nothing looks real damaged in the pics.

Awesome, yeah I've never been certain what the model was and I've had them out several times before and didn't see a model name anywhere on the seat (or on the brackets.) Well thanks for the info, I'll have to get bored sometime soon and investigate the foam setup on them and let you know.

no problem, glad i could help. Just so you know the lx-f (f base) is sort of the next generation lx-a with slightly higher lower bolsters
