I've decided to put my euro s50 and 6-speed up for sale. I bought it from Alex Lipowich of ABL Original Parts back in fall of 09, with 64k miles on it. I have since put about 2-3k miles on it, and never once had an issue with the engine - it ran like a raped ape. No vacuum leaks, VANOS noise, rough running, nothing. The engine came out of a '99 MZ3 (which has the best laid out engine harness for swapping into an e30), and the trans out of a '97 M3 Evo. This trans will bolt to any 24v engine and uses the same exact clutch assembly as a ZF 5-speed.
Engine comes with:
-AKG 24v swap specific engine mounts in as new condition (these locate the motor perfectly in the bay)
-e34 525i oil pan with brand new BMW oil pump and pick-up (app 2-3k miles on this now)
-324TD fan clutch with 0 miles (slimmest fan clutch BMW made for easy mechanical fan fitment)
-C101 connector hard-wired in place of x20. Pins are set up for an '89 M3 which is about 90% similar to any other E30. Only a couple pins would have to be moved, and I could do that no problem for a buyer.
-fuel pump relay added to engine harness for increased plug & play ability into a E30 (stock mz3 fuel pump relay is on the body harness).
-EWS II modules included plus two transponder keys .I have all wires on EWS harness labeled for easy wiring.
-smog pump deleted with correct BMW block-off plate
-All other engine rated paraphernalia including Siemens MSS50 DME, 3.5" MAF, etc.
Transmission includes:
-AKG e21 tranny mounts with enforcers cups in as-new condition
-All newly replaced OEM BMW shifter assembly - every single wear item now has less than 3k miles
-good condition large guibo
-new z3 1.9l shift lever
-sachs throwout bearing with 3k miles since new
Price is $5500 OBO for the engine, $850 OBO for the 6-speed. package deal is $6000, plus shipping on a pallet to your location. Engine is also available for local pick-up in Pittsburgh, PA.
