WTT - Early Tails Startec/MHW for OEM Good Condition + Cash

I will honestly say that I am not a huge fan of the Startec/MHW style tails. As I understand from searching on the forums that the early tails are Startec and the late are MHW so these should be Startec. Apologies if I have them backwards.

Currently installed on a 1987 325iS but ready to go with OEM.

I am asking 250 shipped + OEM Tails in good shape. I will cover shipping both ways with a UPS Label. You box up your tails, tape on my label and send them on. I'll get them installed within 48 hours and your new tails on the way!

I will need to get a photo of them for you which I will add to this thread but wanted to get the ball rolling.

Ok so everything checks out BUT the driver side upper mount obviously is broken/missing. I was not aware of this and took off the cover. I am going to leave it at 250 + OEM Tails and I cover shipping both ways but as said open to offers. No leaks or problems on that side and it all lights up. Appears it is not causing an issue but not looking to hide anything.

Also I left my lights on from lunch so one light is on and the other is not. Oops.

Are the exterior shots with the bulb portion inserted? or with them not in and the trunk open or closed.

There are two shades of these, most prefer the darker of the two.

I took the shots and then popped the covers off and took those shots. Not 100% sure to be honest.

Both sets I have are pinkish hue would prefer the darker set.

Past that I cannot say. I didn't even know what they were to be honest before. Just like the OEM look better and apparently they are rare! haha

If you don't have any luck selling these I have a nice set of early tails from a 91 vert.

I think the pinkish ones are the startec and the darker ones are mhw. For a long time I didnt think mhw made early smoked tails, but they did.
