Curious as to how shipping is working out for you, and for the recipients- in terms of cost, transit time, and issues with customs duties, etc???

Damn wish that euro trim was for an early model e30 :(.

If you ever find any in a local yard you got a buyer here with cash on hand.
          :stupid:

The first package I sent got royally beat up. Everything inside got destroyed... and this weekend I had to go out and get a whole new set of e34 smilies to replace everything (Just as a heads up guys, this means I stand by what I do.)

After that I've been packing like things are going through a war zone. It ends up cutting into the money I make, but it keeps everything safe. Just sent out two more sets of lights after the first and they arrived in perfect condition. Tracking is a bit lame, it basically just says which country the stuff is in, but at least its something.

As far as taxes: of the 4 things I've sent to the states no one has needed to pay takes, stuff just shows up via USPS. Transit time has been about... 2-3 weeks. They say it should be 11 but I haven't seen that happen yet.

Early models are VERY rare in junkyards. I have only seen two and I've been to 10 or so yards. I'll keep and eye out though.

As far the the front euro trim: it would be 35 euros for shipping anywhere in the states

Also: I know that the price of shipping on the small stuff (clock, overhead check panels) is a lot... but there's not much I can do. - The only thing I can think of is if a person wanted more than one thing the shipping would stay the same. It would cost me the same price to mail the fog switches as to mail the fogs, the check panels and the grills.

If someone where to buy more than one I'd probably try and make them a pretty decent deal. I'm hoping to sell everything by Friday, that way I don't have a hanging debt over my head for what I currently have.

I saw an e21 once. it was nothing but the frame... almost couldn't tell what it was.

The yard in Hamburg had one but it was pretty rough.... Mike, any idea why they aren't around? Crushed, or just sold out of the country?

Hey do you ever see e36 coupes w/ cloth interior there?

I need one of the bolsters for the rear seats in light grey m cloth (should just be a suede bolster w/ no pattern). If you see something like that let me know I'll buy it the same day you find it :p
