    M42 AFM and airbox- $45 shipped

    In good shape. Came off a car that had jumped time and would no longer turn over. Worked fine before that.

    I'm interested.

    Can you measure the resistance between pin 5 and pins 1, 2, and 3, both with the air flap closed and wide open? The resistance should be steady at each end and change smoothly. Only one of the pairs (5 and 2, I think) should change, actually. The Bentley manual shows two potentiometers, one for adjustment I think and the other to measure air flow. I've got 2 AFMs and both give funny readings.

      I have never checked one before, but I will take a stab at it. Time to break out the ohmmeter...
