    custom 24v e30 intake.

    I made this for my e30 a while back. Its made from 3 inch exhaust pipe. The filter mounts under the panel after you cut out a 3 inch hole for the pipe to go through. The inner fender blocks and water getting to it. so its just like mounting it in the engine bay, but less heat..
    I also made a flange for the maf sensor to mount in. So it keeps everything simple and clean and one less hose clamp. You could always cut that section off and use your maf and add a boot.
    Im not sure that this will work with ABS cars with out mods,





    65 shipped or 90 with a new K&N filter.

      the section for the maf; does it have a mesh still? something something metering laminar airflow bad, something something turbulent (average) good.

        Nothing in the tube but the sensor and the filter on the other end. I've never had a problem with this setup and never got a check engine light from it.
