So, against my better judgement and good sense, i just picked up another z3 parts car. the car is a '97 2.8 liter/auto with a 13x,xxx miles. also down below are a few parts i have left over from an mz3 part out from a couple of years ago.
PARTS I AM KEEPING: steering rack, rear differential, a/c compressor, starter, ps pump, air box, and stereo/antenna. everything else is up for grabs.
the car has the ALUMINUM 2.8 liter m52. as far as i can tell it is original. it runs great and has really good power. the head gasket was apparently replaced in the last 2000 miles. the oil is clean. it is an auto trans car and was driven by a woman, so hopefully, it didn't suffer much abuse during its day. seems like she did a pretty good job of taking care of maintenance. the engine is still in the car, so it can actually be test driven for the next week or so until i get the time to remove it from the car. i am willing to sell it complete (except a/c compressor, power steering pump and starter). this includes all obd 2 components such as the ecu, mid pipe, ews modules, engine wiring harness, ring antenna and key. i am also willing to cut all the wiring pigtails out of the car's body harness and include them with the sale. the only thing you will need to install this in your e30 would be the accessories mentioned above, an e34 24v oil pan/dipstick/pickup tube and to have the included mid pipe modified to fit an e30. price is 1100.00 compete plus shipping. freight to the east or west coast will be around 300.00. if you live closer, it will be less. if you live in the far northeast or northwest, it will be a little more.
rear trailing arms assemblies. can be used on an e30, but you would need to run high offset e36 wheels. (et40-46, etc) they will go complete with brakes and axles. 275.00 plus shipping.
i pretty much have a complete set of body panels except the front bumper is damaged.

driver seat is rough. passenger seat is nice except for the seatbelt stay on the side by the headrest which is always broken. console doors are broken but the rest of the console looks good.

complete set of mz3 suspension. very low mileage. i think less than 60k includes everything pictured. rear rotors have been turned, the fronts are i believe new. they have a bit of surface rust from sitting around for a few years. this will fit all e30 body styles, all z3's and 318ti. i believe it will also fit z1. 1800 plus shipping.

i am wiling to ship anything on your dime. (except the hood would be pretty tough due to its ridiculous size.) i can strap the parts to a pallet and drop them off to a freight forwarder in the east side of houston for no charge. i like to use aaa cooper because i have an account there and they give me great rates. if it is a large item, please call aaa cooper and estimate the size and weight shipped from houston before sending me pms asking for shipping quotes. generally, ask to quote terminal drop off (on my end)to terminal pickup at your nearest terminal. that will be cheapest. if you have a commercial address, generally drop off there would be no extra charge.
