In my infinite journey to fix my non-working speedometer only to find out I had not checked the CORRECT fuse, I ended up with an extra gauge set from an 87 eta e30. All of the gauges work and I have tested them in my 88. All prices are plus shipping, please ask for quote.
Speedometer $10 without gears, or $85 with new gears installed. This is a Motometer unit, and I installed my new motometer gear set to test is and it did work. I will buy another gear set and install them if desired for the $85 price. I have the matching speed differential sensor for an extra $5, but I did not test it as it had a different style plug than mine. Odometer shows 169,000 miles.
Tachometer: works, $10
Temp and fuel gauges: both work, $8 each.
