I'm going to take a gander and question the use of 18x10 and 285s tires....
I saw your spacers and believe me; I wouldn't run them...... maybe they are fine for now but what about the stress on the hub?
Of course the width of the wheel/tire will stress the hub more, you're generating waaaaay more grip that possible with 225s, etc.

Hmph.... It might just be me who thinks this but my comment was directed at the adapters on the hub, not the extra grip from the 285s.... plus the fact of the extra rotation mass, 50lbs per wheel, gearing changes...
I understand that Alex wanted to run 285s, at which I too questioned why...
18x10s are heavy, expensive, and they don't even look good on E30.
They will make you want to hack up your fenders.
They will slow you down so that you can't even beat a lowly E36 325is with 2.8 swap, JRZ shocks backed up by a long time reputable BMW tuner shop with multi time National Champion driving.
They will make your car pick up inside front wheel in turns and sometimes they will even make your car pick up both of the inside wheels and scare the hell out of corner workers.
Don't bother with these cheap used 18x10.
IMHO custom made 18x11 at $600+ each would be the way to go. ;)

Honestly, I don't know if that's an advantage or not. Theoretically, if the tire stays on the ground if provides grip and while it is in the air it definitely does not provide any grip.
Practically, even the E36 that I mentioned above was lifting it's tires. Also if you watch some of the old DTM videos and you can see all kinds of air under the tires.
I'd say that if you try to go fast sometimes you have to accept the fact that at some point it'll come up regardless of whether it is good or bad. You can try to get rid of lifting fron tinside tire but stiffening the rear spring rate or the rear sway bar, but that will in theory increase oversteer or decrease rear traction.
The point I was trying to make was that Garrick's setup is moderately low budget for someone wanting to run 285/18 tires on their car.
Price reduced. $1000 for the wheels/spacers/lug nuts. $150 more if you want to keep the set of 285/30-18 Hoosier A3S04s presently mounted on the wheels. If interested, please email me at der325racer-e30@yahoo.com
What is the weight of the wheel + adapter per corner?
The wheel weights about 34 lbs. I've never weighted the spacer by itself, but figure about 5 lbs. Keep in mind that an expensive 18x10 (i.e., Fiske, HRE, etc.) all weigh about 21 lbs and cost megabucks....

My bad, I missed your post earlier mentioning that.
Good luck with the sale, I'm sure someone will pick them up. I really would buy them if they weren't so heavy...
