timing guides i haven't checked on but they make no noise. i'll get the motor back to my house and start disassembling and taking pictures of the parts

Got the head off the motor, cams and guides out. All is in EXCELLENT shape for 126k miles and is ready to ship out. Pictures later on today. Block is good shape too, but I haven't tore into it as much yet.

Also would the pulled fan work for an m50 swap? Seems it might, would be interested in that as well

No E36 linkage was available.

The M42 or S50 mechanical fans are both available. I'm not sure which will fit your specific application.
