          I suppose I could, it'd be a shame that everything is already ready to plop in with new bushings and pre-bent arm to clear harmonic balancer.

          How much did you bend yours? This allows clearance and worked out perfectly..

            apparently they've been doing this since 1999. anyways I don't think my bend is too different-
            you could also use stock selector rod and remove harmonic balancer..
            either way, this is done and ready to go

                If you must take my word for it.. throw is 'shorter', and it's not too 'notchy' - that's about as quantitative as I can get ;)
