But, is that M30 AFM work on an M20? I think you're saying it is, but I've never heard of such a thing. I could just be stupid.
In fact, I'll err on the side of me being stupid.

No, the M30 AFM are the ones that are PNP for M20.

I ask because my AFM flap likes to bind on the bottom when it's cold out. Makes the car run like garbage in winter. Might want the one with the bracket if I don't have to do anything but plug it in and have it work right as rain.
