Sooo tempting. If I didn't already buy one of your 10" boxes that last one would be on it's way to my house.

Damn! 12 minutes too late. Are you really not going to make these anymore? I might like to buy the pattern and make one myself!Comment

It's probably better for my wallet. Got all excited and then missed it so picked up ellips instead lol.
Serious about the pattern though, I love the low depth of the 8" box!Comment

No, man, it is not like that at all.
If anyone wants to copy my stuff, I do all I can to help and point them in the right direction, all in the name of community. Most everything in my life revolves around this forum, I owe you guys what help I can give at the very least.
Besides, if someone can beat me at this game, I want to learn from them!
However, the reality is that I don't use "plans" per se. I design on scratch paper, all the specs are here on R3V somewhere, or I can give you what I have...but I don't have actual "plans" because I build jigs to make stuff with. I really don't even measure stuff after that, it is just correct in the first place.
These boxes are simply better designed and better built than any local installer can do, or at least 99.999% of them. It would take a skilled guy hours and hours to build one of these (or any of my designs) even of they had one in front of them to copy.
Seriously, if anyone can do this good a job for the prices I charge, let them have it. We have shipped out over 300 boxes and I plan on cracking the higher models soon. I want to get my E46 design down, I just need a model for a few days. There will be a time that the E30 market is a tiny part of what we do, but for now....I am truly honored that this community supports me that way it does.
Thanks,

Luke, would you be willing to do a final group buy production run of these if there are enough interested parties?Comment

If I could get maybe 6 people, but I am making about $10/hr off these...they would not happen at this price, ever. Had they sold at $250, it would have been worth it, sort of.

If any of you lucky buyers decide to "upgrade" to a 10" box, I'll take the 8" box off your hands.sigpic
