173 ecu is for m20b25 correct? Might be interested in this for my 1990 325i.

Yes I believe the 173 and 380 ECU are interchangeable. It works in my 89' 325i with the same motor.

That's a BavAuto chip, not a Dinan, correct?

I was told it was a Dinan Chip by previous owner, but upon opening it up it said "Bav. Auto".
