SOLD!!!!!!
I have a complete 5 speed swap from an 89 325is for sale with ~170k on it. Just pulled everything out a few weekends ago. The car had been running and driving until the timing belt snapped and trashed the motor. Shifted smoothly, no synchro problems, no driveline noises. I had bought the car to eventually part out after using it for the winter as a beater but the timing belt broke on the way to the DMV to get it registered. (Saved me about $200 bucks in tax/title/tag and parts to do the timing belt)
Includes:
-Getrag 260 5spd (seeps from output seal, and I would recommend doing an input shaft seal as well to be safe while it is out)
-Brake clutch pedal assembly with all switches/springs etc
-Clutch master & slave cyl with firewall grommets for lines
-clutch fork/throwout bearing (didnt make noise but I'd replace if it was going in my car)
-Single mass M20B25 flywheel and Pressure plate (recommend resurfacing and getting a new PP when you buy a clutch disc.)
-Driveshaft (Recommend new flex disk and center bearing as the rubber shows signs of some dry rot starting)
-3.73 LSD (could use side seals, rear cover resealed, and a good cleaning)
-Shifter assembly and reverse switch/wiring
- brake fluid reservoir with tube for clutch master cyl line.
-trans crossmember & mounts
What you will need to put in an automatic car:
-clutch disc
-pilot bearing for crankshaft
-metal/rubber line from clutch master cyl to slave cyl
-shift knob and boot
Asking $450 for everything, $300 everything but the differential. open to offers, may want the diff depending on what engine/trans winds up in my car.
For quickest response email bmdubya333@yahoo.com. I will gladly email pictures of anything you want to see and I will try to get some up later tonight. I don't want to ship the parts, but I can work with you if you want to arrange meeting at an in between point within an hour or so of Harrisburg PA. Thanks.
