That is pretty much an M52 400 cast head, right? The cams make it an S52 I believe.

That is true, the M52 and S52 use the same casting.

This head is from a S52 engine though, the valve springs are not the same on M52.

We generally do not stock cores for the 24v engines. We are however more than happy to work with them and have done a few in the past! We do currently have a S52 head we'll be port/polishing soon. To use this on the S50 you would need to have the head tapped for the additional coolant sensor hole.

Would you recommend port matching the intake manifold with your heads?

The ports on the OEM B25 intake manifold are actually pretty decent. A little cleanup and smoothing out wouldn't hurt but it doesn't need much.

Thank YOU Raul. That M30 head is a work of art, pics don't do it justice.

We have not had time to get to the S52 head yet! Too many orders. :)

It will be sold without cams, trays and lifters though.

We can do them! No cores in stock for those engines though.

What are the results of putting these performance heads on bottom ends with 200k + miles. I have always been told "rebuild the top end better do the bottom too." But techs at my work and others have said otherwise. Very interested in one of your heads.

It depends on what your goals are and the condition of your block. Do you want to go turbo? You might want to do a leak down test to check the bottom end.
