I built a simple rear bracket to mount these. It will require NO drilling to mount the rear.
On MY car installing the front takes less than 5 minutes because I have side skirts that I simply bolt my flap to it as a second point, the first point is the fender liner. Obviously not all E30's have side skirts and I don't want anybody drilling holes into their E30 just to mount mudflaps.
I've had flaps mounted to my car for over a year with just the fender liner point installed. so It would work but its not the sturdiest. There are literally no more areas in the front wheel well to mount a flap to that doesnt require cutting or drilling. should I make some sort of fender clip?

and here's a pic to show how ugly RallyArmour flaps get within 6 months of snow and rain driving

What should I do for the kit?

How hard is it to pull the fender liner out with the fender still on the car? I havent tried.

What I did on my A4 was put three anchors on the back side of the plastic fender liner and screwed threw the mudflap and that. Now I know you don't want to drill but drilling into the plastic fender liner is much better then into the metal. Just food for thought. I am sure you will find something good sans drilling.

Well I got a prototype for the +2" Rally flap. It looks pretty awesome, I'm on H&R race springs and it doesn't touch floor:) Problem with really long flaps would be if you reverse in snow or dirt your will run them over and destroy them. Mine should have just enough clearance for that not to be an issue and here are pics of a rough version of the flap.

these flaps kind of dwarfed my 225's

by the way the +2 flaps sets will only be +2 in the rear because they would be seriously dragging in the front.

Will you ship international? I'd be interested in a set too. Tired of all the crud getting flung onto the sides of the car.

Damn, I like the +2" flaps alot! I want. As for mounting in the front, I wouldn't mind drilling into the plastic to make room for a clip like this:

My stock flaps were basically sitting on the ground with my coils, so I ended up selling them. Lol

is there any way these flaps could be mounted with something lik 3M double sided tape? Guessing no because if they drag then they will fall off?

nope, but you dont have to drill anything to mount them so I dont see any reason to use 3M

Cool I'll be keeping track of this thread. :)

I assume they'll fit a regular ol 318i sedan body right?

should be but I'm not 100% set on it. Also I dont think long flaps work for the frotn because they will scrape. So a long set will include extended rear flaps and standard fronts.

Personally, I'd say just leave it with the 1 hole for the front's, I'll figure out another way to secure it if it seems necessary.

Looks great in the pics, I am seriously excited for these. And if your 225's are dwarfed by them, I can't wait to see how bad my 185 snow tires will look!
