    VERY low. Approx 1/8" - 1/4" above the top of the lever. I sold mine because it sat too low with my z4 3.0.

      damn short. but i thought it was cool.

      i ended up going for a naturally smoother lever though, and the stock knob feels great. no real need for added weight now

        Well I have the Z4 2.5 and my heavy ass UUC knob feels great so don't toss the heavy knob idea aside if you don't have the hardcore 3.0 SSK ;)

            Free bump, these are great knobs. A nice feel, and I think is the sort of knob I'll hold onto. They don't get steaming hot like a past knob I had and look sexay and always will because of the finish.

                  nah, i am perfectly happy with my plastic e36 stocker with the leather torn off and it superglued back together. . .

                  it's just lying around. and i could go for some more booze $
