I figured that had something to do with it, but any degreasers? Pressure washer? Thanks, and free bump!

Haha I don't have a pressure washer. If it's a grimey I'll use a degreaser, but most of the time I'll use a wire brush to clean up dirty spots, such as any leftover gaskets. I haven't seen anywhere near the amount of rust like most diffs for sale on the internet, so I wouldn't know how to effectively deal with that.
