                It didn't overheat according to the temp guage. No water in oil or oil in water. It pressurized the upper rad hose, did a compression test and diagnosed it as a bad head gasket.

                                Im not thread shitting. Just stating a fact about this particular engine.

                                The valve cover needs to be removed and the head bolts need to be checked to make sure they are still within factory spec torque wise. Even without coolant and oil mixing the bolts can pull the threads out of the aluminum block. There are a few remedies for that condition but none fool proof in my opinion.

                                Hope to save heartache for either party.

                                Great price otherwise!!!

                                    I'm fairly (sorta) local and interested. Let me see how the next 5 days pan out and we might be talking more seriously. You mentioned delivery as far as Vancouver, WA? That's almost dead center for the both of us distance wise.

                                        Saturday is my only available day for the next 3 weeks if anyone wants to look at it. I am willing to drive as far as Vancouver, WA this Saturday I'd just like an extra $25 for gas for the truck I have to fill.
