Check out my poor POS build for more great ideas on how to upgrade your POS But if you're mentally retarded like me you might wanna find a friend/shop who can do the work for you!

lol so you bitch and moan about the thought of someone spending $175 on a nearly new brake component but will spend $1700 on individual throttle bodies that are going to give you a 3hp gain? At least it will be fuh raze.

I never pissed and moaned, some guy saw your for sale ad and thought he was gonna sell his for the same price... and um, yeah they don't go for that price like he thought. Yes, I pick and choose where I drop cash. You see I can go pull another 25mm MC whenever, in fact if you want I'll go to the yard outside the gate here and pull 3 of these MCs and sell them for $40 shipped from germany ;)

Those 3hp ITBs aren't laying in every yard around the world (and as i'm watching the euro drop against the dollar they're down to $1580). Even if they don't make as much hp as a DASC, at least i was smart enough to buy a knock detector before I started tuning.

What makes you think the itbs are going to get you any power? Sure you will gain some by getting rid of the maf but the airbox is so poorly designed that it could very well take some of those gains away. Non oem knock sensors are sketchy at best, nothing compares to listening to the engine.

                1. the M42 never came with a MAF, but I will be converting my AFM over to MAF for better airflow.
                2. others running dbilas ITBs have ran lean (16:1) on 21lb injectors w/stock cams says they make power. (19lb stock/24lb ftw)
                3. thinking your ears are better than a proven knock detector </debate>

This i would agree with, so would LinkECU. They offer the same bosch knock sensor found on OBD1 E36 M42s as an option with their KnockLink G4.

True, but based on the supply/demand of r3v it isn't going to sell at that price.
