I have a running M20B25 engine sitting in my '88 325is. It leaks and burns oil like crazy, but still running strong at 218k miles.
I also have a non-running M20B27 engine in a '87 325 (e). 220k miles.The car is missing some parts so I can't tell the condition of the engine, except that the previous owner said that the engine _is_ in working condition.
The 325is has an auto tranny, the 325 has a manual tranny.
I would like to get a non-leaking M20B25 in decent condition. I like working on cars but I just got into this and I am not ready to do a whole engine rebuild that my 325is probably requires. So anyone in my area would like to get 2 M20 engines for one??
Or if you want to buy them from me I'll sell them for $$$, then buy a different used M20 from somewhere else. Make an offer.
I would prefer this to be a local transaction.
