M Tech II Front valance and OEM bumper. (New)

Paid $670 for it shipped to my door a few months ago. Decided to not put it on after replacing my front end after an accident. It has been sitting in my garage since I opened the package. I'm looking for $500 + shipping These are polyurethane parts.

    Pictures of them.

I'm assuming the valence is also OEM? Would you sell it separate from the bumper?

I'll take the bumper if you sell the valance to the guy above.

        Ready to buy.

Just in case some of you guys havent notice, the bumper is not a mtech2 bumper. The seller did not claim it to be either, but just trying to help.

I'm going to keep them as a bundle for now. I'm in no rush to sell them as I might just end up putting them on someday down the road if they don't sell together.

Actually, it does look like an mtech II bumper, just not the one you usually see. There was a more rare package that was produced by BMW for the later models that featured a bumper that was molded as one piece (just like your traditional mtech II bumper) except the molding sections protruded (as the OP's bumper is) rather than recessed (like the traditional mtech II).

Of course I'm not going to be able to locate a picture of this package with the lower valence (which was also different than the traditional mtech II), but I have seen it in person.

In either case, the bumper listed above is not your run-of-the-mill plastic bumper as it has no provisions for trim pieces or side markers.

EDIT: Found some pictures, turns out it was made by pfeba for BMW:

Great eye mbonder. Its definitely not you run of the mill front bumper. Although I would not go as far as to say its a different/rarer version of the mtech 2 kit. Its more of a rare factory styling kit bmw offered made by pfeba. Ps, the car pictured belongs to a member by the tag name of iambennet (spelling?)

I guess, but I've only seen that front coupled with the mtech II side and rear pieces. The only way to know would be to get our hands on a sales brochure for all of the exterior options from the late 80's!

                    Either way, pretty rare bumper!

That's true, the parts number does show up as mtechnik items too. Either way, bump for the seller.

It's the aero front bumper. Looks good with an M-tech II valance, but even better with the proper aero valance.
