    WTB Rear Convertible speakers

Curious if anyone has a set of rear speakers that fit a vert. Mine are gone from the PO taking them out and I am tired of not having sound coming from the rear. I have tried some aftermarket units, but they are all too big or too expensive for me right now. Let me know what ya got!

FYI Even though your car may have the premium sound front speakers, the premium rear speakers will not fit in a vert. If you want cheap, as in factory, speakers you have to use the standard style speakers with the small magnet.

I just did a set of the cheap-o Sonys from Walmart in the rear location on a 'vert. With proper Premiums up front and one of my 'vert sub boxes, the car sounded great.

Having a decent 5 channel amp to run all of it helped, too.

I have done them, they can fit. You basically have to put the panel in place on top of them, mounting them to the panel at the same time as mounting the panel...major pain in the butt, but they do fit.

Tweeter protrusion was the issue? The Sonys are pretty much flat.
