Thule 555 old school fairing repro

Since these are becoming harder to find, NLA from thule, and the ones out there are either $100+ or not in great shape, I was thinking of having a few made up.
I was thinking of making the units about 2-3" wider so the gutter feet would have a little more coverage.
I've found a company ready to cut them.
I'm going to have them done in black and transparent(clear).
I think the clear units with a black Thule sticker will provide a different look.
Is there any interest?

I'm working on that now.
I need to factor in shipping, cutting, and materials cost.
The clear units are easy, its the black/smoked units that are going to drive the cost up.
But I'm shopping for bulk material to help lower the cost.....
I've seen the Thule 555 "old school" go for $100+ shipping used, but I want my new units to be much lower than that including shipping....

I actually sold my 555 last year a regret it......
So I'll make a new one for me, and some for you guys as well.
The clear units are going to be hot.

The thule logo will in no way be included. Thats up to the purchaser to buy and apply.
If there is enough interest in the mounting hardware, I will fab units up and sell them with the fairing.....

The hardware will look a little different but will work the same...
Instead of being slotted, the brackets will have multiple wholes.....

Since price seems to be the deciding factor here, and I've not locked a number in yet, tell me what you honestly think fair is.
Remember that used units are going for $100+shipping and Thule doesn't make them anymore.
But so that you know, I'm not looking for $100..........

Whats fair to you? This will help decide if I go forward with the project......

Cool folks.
Along with the clear units, I'm going to have some aluminum ones made. My machinist says they are lighter than the clear acrylic units.
I think the alunimum units will be a nice contrast as well.......
I should have one of each by the weekend to show you guys...
It looks like I'll be making brackets as well, but you can order one without if you don't need them.
