FS/FT Very Nice Tan Recaros W/E30 Bracket/Sliders

This is somewhat of a feeler, I REALLY like how these seats look in my car, but they don't provide enough lateral support for autocross competition so I'm looking for some light fixed-back race seats. Here are some pictures...





I don't know what model Recaro these are, some say LS, some say LX...I'm no expert. What I can tell you is they are tan leatherette (not real leather) & do not have the adjustable lower thigh support. They are mounted on E30 brackets & sliders & have the correct seat-belt latches, meaning they are ready to bolt into any E30. They are in very nice condition, just some slight wear on one of the bolsters & a couple of stiches have seperated. I switched around the seatbelt latches so that I could put the passenger side seat on the drivers side of my car, so the worn bolster is now on the inside of the passenger seat.

Here is the deal...I'm mainly looking to trade these towards some fixed back race seats such as Sparco, Corbeau, etc. If someone already had some from an E30 with brackets/sliders that would be even better. Depending on the seat/condition I am willing to put cash on top.

These are the only seats I have for my car currently, so I would also be interested in a part trade for your current GOOD condition tan sport or comfort seats to tide me over until I get race seats for my car. I'm not sure what these are worth, I figure at least $300 for the pair, so best offer over that. PM me for more info, located in the SF Bay Area, not willing to ship due to the size.

Wow $300 is a screaming deal on these. E21 and 2002 guys will kill all over for these. Will be worth paying shipping for anyone not local for sure. Just ask a bit more for the shipping and packing hassle and ship them.

OK guys, I appreciate your dedication & motivation, but it isn't as simple as "throwing them in a box". Time is something I have very little of at the moment, in my experience shipping something this large not only is expensive, but very time consuming.

I have 3 local people interested in the seats, if none of them come through I will go down to the local shipping store & get a quote to have them shipped. Sorry for the inconvenience...

Why are you selling these? Just get one fixed back seat with mounts and change out for track days. They look perfect in your car, so no offence to your "feeler" don't sell =)

Update....

OK, yes these seats are technically still available, but my plans have somewhat changed for the short term. I am in the middle of a job change that is requiring a lot of my time & efforts, plus the car is going in for suspension developement in a couple weeks, so I'm not in a position to shell out for race seats at the moment. That being said, the seats are still available, however only in a part trade + cash for good condition sport seats (vinyl OK), or close-to-even trade for race seats ready to bolt into an E30. Otherwise I will just keep these until after the suspension work is done & I'm ready to budget in race seats.

Thanks for the kind words, yes they do look perfect in my car. However, as mentioned above, they ultimately don't accomplish what I want...very light seats with ultimate lateral support. These seats weigh around 41 lbs with the brackets...in my autocross class seats & brackets can be as light as 25 lbs, which will save me over 30 lbs if I replace both seats.

I thought shipping seats was a PITA, but after shipping a whole interior, it really wasnt too bad. Just wrap them up with alot of plastic and take them to a bus station. I shipped my interior via greyhound, they put packages and stuff under the bus. No need for boxes, just make sure the elements wont reach the seats.

Those are not E21 seats, Those are a variant of LS-A.B.C the base with the low like that look like C for the base the top look like B's so I would say LS-BC look under the foam of your base.
