i know you say "period correct" but who really wants the original speakers in a car? just saying. everyone wants a nice system and that is not gonna come from old sound equipment. heck if i saw a e30 with original tires we would say, "that is cool, but i would never drive on those". old stuff is cool, but i believe reliable and working stuff is better.
not bashing you, but i know how brittle old subs and such get. and its not like its a factory BMW box(which would probably be crap by now too) my .02
or were you saying the box "looked" period correct? just want to see what you actually are referring to-FREEDOM- is cruisin at 80, windows down and listening to the perfect song-thinking "this is it"
