525i ultimate 24v swap car! (Seattle)

-------------------CAR IS SOLD, THANKS FOR THE INTEREST--------------------

For sale is the perfect 24v swap car! I'm helping a customer get rid of it after an accident.

    Here are the details:

1992 525i (M50, non-vanos). Running, driving. Was hit (hard) in the rear, but still driveable. Other than the accident, pretty decent car. Have the title and everything.

Manual transmission, recent clutch job (about 10k miles on clutch).

LSD!!! Interior in decent shape, recent brake job, etc.

My customer needs to get out from under it and buy a new car after the accident, so I agreed to help him sell it or part it.

So I'm listing it on R3vlimited because I think it has the most value for an E30 swap guy; it has the engine, trans (new clutch!), oil pan, harness, dme, everything you want for a 24v swap. It's driveable now, so you can see it run and drive it home. Then, sell off the rest of the parts (projector headlights, fog lights, LSD, interior, gauge cluster, etc.) to make your money back.

Currently the car is sitting on some Style 5 wheels that will probably be swapped for some decent rollers before selling, but may be available for extra cash...

Asking $2500 obo. Email midnightmotorsport{at}yahoo.com for more information/photos/whatever.

Probably? I really wouldn't recommend it, though. The back is smashed up pretty well, and it's probably illegal to drive with the tail lights all smashed. Plus the rear alignment is probably cranked, don't know if it would scrub through tires or not.

The car has been driven in little 15-20 minute legs across Seattle, but no further than that.

You're the second contact I have asking about taking the car to Idaho; my recommendation would be to trailer it for sure on such a long drive.

The current wheels/tires will be removed (as stated in the ad), and we will make sure it has some rollers, but I can't promise how good the rubber on the car will actually be when it is sold. I am working on the basis that this car is simply a rolling parts shell that can drive a bit; it is definitely not a driver.

BUMP! Make an offer, or just let me know if I'm crazy and Joe should just sell his car to the junk yard! I have done a few 24v swaps, I know that you could easily pay $2k for an e34 M50 with trans, harness, dme, and a brand new clutch! This doesn't seem like a terrible deal...
