The brake booster is the big black oval inside the engine bay on the driver's side mounted on the firewall. You'll see the brake fluid reservoir and master cylinder connected to it. Basically you'll have to remove the brake lines connected to the master cylinder and then the 2 nuts that connects it to the booster. After that the booster will unbolt from the brake pedal inside the car under the steering wheel and there will be 4 nuts holding it on the firewall from that side too.

Honestly its a high demand part considering lots of people us it to swap 24 valve motors into their car, so just search the for sale forum for any others and price yours comparably.

As far as the transfer case goes, just because the car runs and drives fine doesn't mean it has a good, working transfer case. The only definitive way to test it is to do the "jack test" which is essentially just jacking up the rear end of the car using the differential and seeing if the front wheels pull the car forward. It should pull itself forward immediately with no real hesitation.

You have a great car that will help out a lot of people, IX's are harder and harder to find so please make sure to take your time pulling parts!!! Try not to break anything, because it will just be costing you money in the long run.

If you need help or clarification on something, just ask! Lots of helpful people around here, its a great resource.

With that being said, I'd be interested in the front driveshaft and transfer case if it passes the test that I mentioned earlier. Feel free to PM me about it and anything else you might need assistance with. Good luck!!!

And with pictures, just take them with a cell phone or a digital camera and sign up for a photobucket account. After you upload them, you can paste the link called IMG in your thread and the picture will automatically come up for you. Thats what I do at least!
