Can you describe any cracks/chips/scratches/breaks/damage to the MHW tails? Looks like the red 318is they're pictured on was hit in the rear - this didn't damage the tails?

Correct, these taillights were on my old car and I transferred them over.

There is a small crack the size of a nickel above the "s" in the 318is badge, no water gets through. There is also condensation in the passenger side right most area. The drivers side is nearly perfect. Here is a more up-close pic:
