Is your engine ground cable deteriorated? Did you know that many of the relays in your electrical system are grounded through the starter? The starter is grounded to the bellhousing. The bellhousing to the engine, and the engine to the body.

4 AWG copper stranded wire, 99% oxygen free.
Lugs are copper with 3/8" diameter mounting hole and soldered
Shrink-wrapped for corrosion resistance.
If your engine ground cable looks like the one pictured below, you should replace it with the one I make (also pictured)

Since the original batch I made is already gone, I had to make some new ones.
These are basically the same thing with some minor differences.
They are still 4AWG 99% oxygen free copper stranded wire but this time with a smoked, opaque insulator.
They are still copper mounting lugs with the exception being these have a tin coating on them.
The only downside to this is, they don't look as pretty once they've been soldered. The tin coating flows in and makes for an uneven finish on the ends.
