Ok hold the phone. It appears I may have jumped the gun ever so slightly. According to the attached photos, the piece I'm llooking for is actually attached to the mirror arm.
Mine, however does not have it. I thought it was a secondary piece.

Anybody have an arm like that?

I was gonna say I think it is a part of the mirror but, as your pictures show, it is actually a part of the arm that holds the mirror.

Yes, that's precisely what I discovered. Wondering why my map light mirror does not have this arm. Wondering if I can find just the arm. Or if I'm just on a senseless search.

I assume you want this dohickey to help with your rear view mirror shake?

my maplight mirror has the correct arm, and it has that rubber do-hickey, but it still doesnt touch the windshield! luckily, mine doesnt shake too bad.

Just checking but I assume you know it's adjustable (screws in-and-out).

If you're at all interested I needed this part too, so I made this and it fixed it perfectly. Does the same thing as stock, I just couldn't find a stock one. If anyone needs this stabilizer I guess you could call it, let me know, I can make more.

Note: This is a rough sample!! I painted it black to match the mirror, it's just bare aluminum in the pic. And it's got a hard felt pad on the bottom to not scratch the window. And lastly instead of the two flats for a wrench I can do a knurled finish to just tighten by hand, I think that's all it would take.
